Today, December 31st, 2023 marks a new beginning

Today marks a new beginning.

“No it does not. It is New Years Eve. It firmly marks an ending.”

Ah, but dear reader, this has nothing to do with the Gregorian calendar you so loyaly use. We here use the Gregorian Greogian calendar which is named after the famed Gregory Gregory and any resemblance to the Gregorian calendar is merely a coincidence.

So no, this new beginning is more a beginning of society, of community, and most importantly, of FREEDOM! We have united as a club to share our vision and passion for life, freinds, and hugs. And now, on this very alleged “New Years Eve,” as those of you using the Gregorian calendar call this day, we have a new system of communication which no superintendent faculty can interrupt. There will be no more wire crossing at the hands of anyone but ourselves. There will be no stifling of our grandeur or our pontification. On this day, we declare, together in once voice, louder than the voice of any other on this website, which I will remind you is not under the purview of Tulane, “WE ARE THE BENEVOLENT SOCIETY FOR THE PROPAGATION OF ASSORTED TOMFOOLERY AND OTHER SORTS OF PECULIAR AND OTHERWISE ABSURD AND BAFFLING NONSENSE, HEAR US ROAR!”

*Road echos in the distance and people are around perk there ears up and sing*

On this merry day

We heard whimsy’s roar

We will come to play

Riding on our boars

Once were on our way

We will together explore

We will play a merry game

(This song continues for like 15 minutes with the same exact ABABABAB rhyme scheme untill it finally gets to the conclusion)
